More Than A Triple Threat Talent! Singer/Songwriter, Actress/Writer, Guitarist and Dancer

Kerri Medders may have been born in Houston, TX but she was truly made for Hollywood. Some would say that Kerri is a triple threat. Even though Kerri is only 11 yrs. old, what do you call someone when they have already written, directed and acted in her own short film plus continuing to write scripts almost daily, takes acting, singing, guitar & dance lessons. Some would say that Kerri just may be a Hollywood mogul in the making.

Kerri’s passion for entertaining has led her straight to Hollywood. She relocated to Los Angeles, found an acting manager and begin to go out numerous auditions landing a role in “Sunny Days” short film and several commercials.

Kerri has realized that her love for acting extends behind the camera as well and has written several scripts. She decided to take a chance and write, direct and act in her very own short film, “Granny’s Lawn” and within less then a month from the video being posted on YouTube she had over 4,000 views.

With her acting career picking up Kerri is by no means setting her singing career aside. She has been working hard in the recording studio on 11 new original songs. She will be releasing 2 singles in July “I’m A Do It” and “Fairy Tale” with the release of the complete self-titled album later in 2011. But with her fans asking for new music sooner rather than later Kerri decided to release her single and music video for “This is My Now” early. The music video for “This Is My Now” is Kerri’s third video following “Class Is Out” and “A Friend”. Being from a close family Kerri wrote “This Is My Now” and has dedicated it to her dad making it very dear to her. With Kerri’s endless ideas for songs you most likely will find her recording them on her pocket recorder. Being very disciplined you will often see Kerri sitting at a piano, playing her guitar or just listening to tracks writing lyrics as a way to express herself.

Kerri’s music has opened amazing opportunities that have led  her to perform at Venues from Texas all the way to Los Angeles. Besides performing regularly at Elementary and Middle Schools in the Los Angeles area she has a taken the stage at Holiday in the Park at Six Flags Over Texas, Magic Mountain, LAPD Children’s Day in Park and Venice Beach to name a few. Her songs “Class Is Out” and “A Friend” have become a regular on internet radio with airplay as far as Australia and landing her in the Top 20 of the TweenPop Radio Charts.

When Kerri isn’t on a film set or performing one of her songs she is focused on her school, family, friends but especially to giving back. With Kerri having a very kind soul she feels blessed to be able to give to those in need. With her endless amount of positive energy Kerri has become a big support for JDRF (Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation) by helping to raise money for the charity by walking in their annual “Walk to Cure Diabetes”. With a smile that lights up a room Kerri also donates time to the Ronald McDonald House “Walk for Kids.

Kerri is a strong believer in that you get out of life what you put into it. She focuses on remaining grounded and stays determined to reach her dreams while doing it all with a sense of humor. Kerri is an incredibly strong young girl who we have no doubt will reach the top in the entertainment industry.
